When ordering, the dedication of the type in the comment field! A woman of letters Svetlana Vujcic, life-long friend and a team-mate, wrote a story of Svetlana Kitic. The author competently described Ceca’s life, her childhood and arrival to Belgrade, successes with her club and the National team along with turbulent events from her personal life. In Ceca’s biography, through an unforgettable adventure you will experience her brilliant sports career that lasted until she was 49. She won 21 handball club titles, silver and gold medals in the Olympic Games in Moscow and Los Angeles, silver medal in the World Championship in South Korea, gold and bronze medal from Junior World Championships, she played 202 games for the National team and scored more than 900 goals… The pages of the book are filled with laughter and tears, running on the court, ups and downs of the main character. The most interesting pieces of her life can be seen on the various photographs along with Ceca’s silly comments. This is the story about the greatest female handball player of all times, the mother of three, wife and grandmother, the story about a great woman! “By the power of her natural talent, persistence, will for work, infinite energy, the ability to be a leader and to give the most in the most important games, she became a role model for the younger generations. She was entrusted by many people because of her attitude, results and her loyalty to the sport and thus became simply the best.
On the Handball World Championship that took place in Seoul in 1990, she played the major role. She meant a lot to the team and me, as a coach, on and off the court. Often, in our conversations, I was under the impression that I was the team-mate that she was coming to rescue. Perfectly aware of what I was stressed about, she knew how to approach, how to talk to me and help me enter the game consciously and ready to the maximum. She showed her exquisiteness even in the moments of celebration after the victory when she would sing, from her heart, from her soul. However, even the next day, as much as she let herself enjoy in her vices, she would be the first one on the morning practice, giving example to the others. She was not just the best player in Yugoslavia, Europe and the world; she was also the first ambassador of sports to whom she dedicated the best years of her youth.” - Coach and selector Milorad Milatovic
